Notice is hereby given that the Department for Regional Development is satisfied that traffic on Carmoney Road shall be prohibited or restricted under Article 7(1) and (3) of The Road Traffic Regulation (NI) Order 1997 to facilitate re-surfacing work.

The effect of this prohibition will be to exclude vehicles travelling along Carmoney Road from its junction with Backhill Road to its junction with Kilnappy Road from Monday 30th September until Friday 4th October 2013 each day from 08:00 until 17:30.

A Diversionary Route will be signed via Carmoney Road, Main Street Eglinton, Coolafinny Road, Clooney Road, Carmoney Road and vice versa.

Emergency services and local access will be maintained.

Resurfacing works will be carried out on the B90 Low Road from mini roundabout at Reids Road for 1200m. Traffic control will be in operation each day except for 3rd - 4th October when the road will be closed to through traffic. A suitable diversion route will be signed.
